What a strong debut album packed with a bunch of great songs. Highly recommend to everyone who likes the modern take on this kind of late 60s psych-rock. Papa Jay (Radio Smorgasbord)
The Shivas deliver a set of righteous three-chord wonders with a mean streak that will always be to the tastes of a certain doomy subset of ‘60s rock fans. Bandcamp Album of the Day Oct 29, 2019

These guys or should I say Nick Carlisi and company have hit the spaceship of prime 60’s psychedelic sounds. They have gobbled up a stew of influences from Beatle chords, Beach Boy harmonies and Monkee’s, Loving Spoonful rock moves. If the Byrds, Love and the bands I mentioned are your cuppa tea then this 12” platter will deliver the goods. Joseph Sciortino
